Our Team
Kaylee K. Sauvey
Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law
(State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization)
Kaylee has devoted her entire legal career to specializing in legal matters in the field of estate planning, probate, and elder law. Kaylee works with individuals and fiduciaries in their capacities as conservators, personal representatives of estates, and trustees.
Kaylee is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. This means that she has undergone a certification process consisting of an additional specialization exam, continuing education credits, and required tasks.
Kaylee received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2014. Kaylee received a full academic scholarship to Chapman University, Dale E. Fowler School of Law and graduated with her Juris Doctor degree in 2018. Kaylee was sworn in as a member of the State Bar of California by the Honorable Judge Kim Hubbard in December of 2018.
Kaylee was a featured writer in the February 2022 issue of OC Lawyer Magazine on the topic of conservatorships in light of the Free Britney movement.
Kaylee is the current Secretary/Treasurer of the Orange County Bar Association, Guardianships, Conservatorships, and Protective Proceedings section. In 2024, she will serve as the Chair Elect. In 2025, she will serve as the Chair of the section.
Kaylee also serves on the Orange County Superior Court court appointment panel to receive court appointments as a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) or Court Appointed Counsel (CAC) for both elders and minors.
Kaylee loves traveling, vintage glass, true crime, and spending time with her cats.

Teejan Saddy
Associate Attorney
Teejan graduated from Thomas Jefferson School of Law as a Juris Doctor with Magna Cum Laude Honors in December 2023. Teejan passed the California Bar Exam in May 2024 and has been admitted to the California Bar as of June 2024.
Teejan studied at the University of California, Riverside where she pursued her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with an emphasis in Law and Society. While in undergraduate school and into law school, Teejan competed in mock trial competitions where she won numerous individual awards in her role as an attorney.
Through her experiences, she enhanced her litigation skills and her passion for client advocacy.
During her free time, Teejan enjoys spending time with her family, baking sweet treats, and exploring new local coffee shops.

Rick Faulkner
Of Counsel Attorney
Rick has been a licensed attorney since 2005. As a new attorney, he began his career in family law. He worked as a new associate practicing family law for several years before placing a hold on his legal career to become a law professor at the current Chapman University, Dale E. Fowler School of Law.
Rick spent over a decade as a law professor, routinely teaching subjects such as Legal Research and Writing, Criminal Procedure, Wills and Trusts, and Remedies. Rick also assisted with the development of the supplemental bar preparation program offered to students to prepare them for the struggles of the bar examination. While at Chapman, Rick also served for several years as the Director of Academic Achievement – a position which offered him the opportunity to work with struggling students to increase their academic standing.
Rick also privately tutors students struggling to pass the bar examination.
Rick left academia and started a family law practice – Faulkner Post Law Firm – in 2018. In addition to assisting Sauvey Law Group, APC, he also has his own family law practice.

Amy Stubblefield
Associate Attorney
Prior to beginning her career in the legal profession, Amy received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. During her final year at CPP, Amy’s policy work examining the consequences of groundwater depletion in California as well as India and Pakistan won her numerous awards. Afterwards, Amy received a full academic scholarship to Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law and later graduated with her Juris Doctor degree and certificate in Environmental, Land Use, and Real Estate Law.
Amy has been involved at Sauvey Law Group, APC since the very beginning and has been working under the direction of Kaylee for several years. Throughout her time here, she has gained extensive knowledge pertaining to the range matters heard in probate court. In addition, Amy enjoys the time spent working with clients on preparing their estate planning documents to ensure their assets pass without the need to open a probate. In particular, Amy enjoys combining her passion for the environment with her passion for the law by working with clients intent on leaving a portion of their assets to local environmental non-profits.
Outside of work, Amy loves traveling to national parks throughout the country and spending time with her horses.
